Support the development and use of new, environmentally clean energy sources, such as solar, wind, and biomass by (1) Removing Federal subsidies for fossil fueled and nuclear energy and (2) Taxing Fossil fuels for their real cost to the nation.
Lead the global effort to prevent the destruction of the earth’s forest, the decimation of the diversity of species, and the potential damage from ozone depletion and the greenhouse effect.

Clean-up America’s polluted air, rivers, wetlands, and oceans by eliminating pollutants at its source and using waste products productively.
Create new jobs and new industry in energy conservation and renewable sources that will simultaneously benefit the environment and save the nation hundreds of billions of dollars.
